With this company I was very exposed to the Ads industry, particularly printed advertisement.
Flyers, banner, posters and specially business cards were offered to companies and particular customers.
This market has a high demand but possibly a higer offer with low differentiation.
Therefore small companies tend to be absorbed by large suppliers.
The strategy of 180 Grados consisted to offer a high quality, specially in Business cards.
The printer used was Hewlett Packard indigo machine: Digital Printing.
In contrast to the traditional offset printing, Digital Printing was more consistent with color.
Corporate companiesare willing to pay more for color accuracy.
Therefore we were focused in selling quality rather than competing with low prices in a collapsed market.
At the end 180 Gradoswas not financially strong enough and was absorbed by Xpress, one of the suppliers.
Skills
-Customer service: it implies patience, listening and problem solving. If a service is not deliverd on time it must be understood why the event occured and offer a delivery date for example.
-Empathy: services delays are inevitable in this industry. Therefore it requires good judgement to know which services require more priority and apologize if necessary, but always offering a solution.
-Communication: If things are not working perfectly in the operations deparment, it is important to offer realistic timelines to the customers. Communication with clients and operations will decrease complains and maintain a healthy relationship with customers.
Bitrix CRM
This was the first time to interact with a CRM platform.
It was interesting to consider how Bitrix conects phone calls with CRM records. When there is an incoming call a lead is generated.
Tasks can be generated to send a quotation, a reminder or an email.
